ABOUT CLOMIPHENE:  Clomiphene is a non-steroidal, ovulatory stimulant. It binds to estrogen receptors, but unlike what happens to estradiol, an endogenous estrogen, its binding is for a longer duration. This results in a net reduction are the estrogenic effect.

An increase in pituitary gonadotropin release drives ovarian follicular activities leading to a rise in Luteinizing and Follicle Stimulating hormones and a fall after a 5-day administration in animal test subjects.
